Can I get a divorce in Florida even if my spouse lives in another country?
If your spouse lives in another country and you have satisfied the residency requirements for filing and obtaining a divorce in Florida, which are residing in the state of Florida for at least six months prior to filing for the divorce, yes, you can obtain a Florida divorce. However, without jurisdiction over your soon-to-be former spouse, the court will be unable to adjudicate issues of support, child support, alimony, child custody, child timesharing, and/or division of assets and liabilities. That requires a court to have jurisdiction over the soon-to-be former spouse.
