Can grandparents be awarded custody of their grandchild(ren) in Florida?

In Florida, grandparents have no custodial rights in a divorce proceeding. In dependency court, there are some provisions for grandparental rights. However in a divorce situation, if the parents do not want the grandparents to have time-sharing rights with their children, Florida courts do not have jurisdiction to award grandparental rights.
