Are there any guidelines in Florida for alimony, like those judges use in child support cases?

Currently, Florida does not have alimony guidelines like they exist in the child support arena. However, for the last couple of years, there have been a couple of pending legislative actions in the Florida Legislature seeking to implement alimony reform. Keep reading the paper, listening to the news, because it is probably going to be enacted soon. Florida will soon have alimony guidelines but currently, does not.
