Is homosexuality an important factor in determining custody?
Homosexuality is not a factor in determining custody. The factor in determining custody or time sharing, as it is now called in Florida, is best interest of the child. Is it in the best interest of the child for the child to share time with his or her parents and in what fashion? If the parent that is in a same-sex relationship acts inappropriately in that relationship, then it may impact the time sharing, as it would if it were a heterosexual relationship that was entered into inappropriately.
